So I thought I'd make one solid place to write my adoptables rules at, so I can refine them a bit, and not have to worry about copying and pasting a huge wall of text EVERY time I make adoptables.

PAYING INFO

There are three different ways one can pay:  sending me points, the purchase button, or through Paypal (once I get it set up).

I will make it clear which way one should pay when you choose an adopt you would like to own.

If you send the points to me before hand I will not take those as a purchase, but as a donation instead, so if you don't want to pay extra, make sure you wait until after I tell you to send points to send them.

If you choose to use Paypal (and only when specified by me) then I will note you the Paypal address with some extra instructions (which are very easy to follow).  Again, please wait until after I tell you to send the money for the adopt.

Same goes with the purchase button, wait until after I tell you to purchase before you click the button.

BASES

Do NOT trace any of my bases, if you want to use them please purchase them or ask permission for those that are not up on dA.

For the P2U bases you can either use the purchase button, or you can note me telling me you need the file if you decide to just send points instead of clicking the purchase button.

GENERAL RULES

Please do NOT bother any of my customers (if you will) if/when they purchase, offer, or attempt at purchasing. They came first, they get the adoptable.  Unless it's an auction, in that case they offered higher, if you want the adopt offer higher than them.  If you bother my customers I have the right to refuse you the adopt, and it will go to the person that bid the highest second to you and didn't bother anyone.

Once you have paid, the rights to the adopt is yours:
-  You can change the appearance/species if you want, but please try to keep it recognizable.
-  If you want to re-sell please tell me, and to whom the adopt is being sold to, so I can fix it accordingly on the batch.  Also, please only sell it for the equivalent or lower than what you purchased it for.
-  You may not breed the adoptable, under any circumstance, for any kind of profit.  That I will not allow.
-  You can trade the design for another one, or gift it to someone, but please let me know who the new owner is, and please make sure they know about my adopt rules - I will expect the same thing from them as I do you.
-  You can also give the design back to me if you want, so I can sell it to someone else, but you will not be refunded.

You must give me credit for making the design at least once on the first drawing of it or the character sheet.  After that credit is not needed, but is appreciated.

For owners of adopts that have been abandoned, disabled, moved without any knowledge to me, banned, otherwise a dead account, I acquire the adopt back in my possession and regain the rights to sell the adopt to someone else.

ADOPT RULES

You may change the design/species, but again, please keep it recognizable to the design you bought.  Changing it drastically to the point of it being unrecognizable, defeats the purpose to purchasing that design.

Do NOT trace the lines, recolor, or any of that bullshit.  The lines are either by me, or by another user on dA.  They are not for sale for you to use unless stated otherwise by the maker of said lines.  Any credit you take of that, and don't give to the rightful owner, is stealing.  Do NOT claim the design as yours either.

If you would like a cropped out version of your adoptable, please do so yourself.  I do not have time to spend cropping out your adopt for you.  It's really not that hard, and if your program is not letting you do it, leave it be and just remember which adopt is yours.

Unless stated otherwise, I will do holds/reserves, but they will only last a week from when you asked for such.  I will let you know when the week is up.

You may link me to your first drawing or character sheet if you want to, but it's not needed.
